A trip to Paris…

I visit Paris at least twice a year to go to the largest fabric fair in the world- Premiere Vision. This is where I select my fabrics, see the latest trends and meet my fabric suppliers. The whole fashion world descends on Paris for these few days to get inspired and start their next collection.

While I was on my last visit to the fashion capital, it only seemed right to wear my ‘Paris’ dress from my recently launched ‘City Look’ collection. What I love about the ‘Paris’ dress is, first of all, the fabric is perfect for travelling and suitcase friendly. Even though I was running from meeting to meeting, I still felt really comfortable, stylish and carried off my best Parisian chic look…

On work trips I like to fill my diary with as much as possible. I was delighted that my last trip coincided with the Dior exhibition in The Musée des Arts Décoratifs. It was a lavish and comprehensive exhibition, which showcased present designer Maria Grazia Chiuri and right back through the years of Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano and Raf Simons.  It was wonderful to see how each designer brought their own creativity to their time in Dior, while maintaining the Dior spirit and aesthetic.

It’s always a pleasure to visit one of the fashion’s capitals and coming back I’m always full of creativity and new ideas…
