A Stitch in Time: 10 Years of the Heidi Higgins Boutique

As I look back over the last 10 years since I first opened the doors to my flagship boutique, the simplest way to sum up the most exciting early years of the business are looking back over all the photos!

It’s been a roller coaster ride and the HH Team and I have had so much fun designing new collections; creating window displays, planning photo shoots, taking part in some amazing fashion shows (both here in Ireland and abroad), dressing numerous ‘best dressed’ winners at the races and incredible board-room-bound business women alike, but most of all we have enjoyed meeting all our amazing customers who have supported us and visited us each season to shop the latest collection here in the HH Boutique!

As I'm expecting baby number 2 this Summer and considering some of the rather dramatic changes that have reshaped the Irish fashion scene, now seems like the perfect time to modernise how I run my business. Like many contemporary Irish creatives I have chosen to move my business exclusively online to try strike that mythical 'work/life balance' we're all collectively striving for. I feel that ultimately this is the best choice for both my label and my family.

As our time with our brick and mortar shop comes to a close this month on our 10th anniversary and we take our adventure exclusively online I look forward to creating our next collage of photos and hope you join us on our new journey!

Love, Heidi
